What terms apply when you use this site?

This site gives general information about selling a junk car to Junk My Car Inc and lets you request an offer. Sending the form doesn't commit you to sell. A sale happens only when you accept an offer and hand the vehicle and its papers over at pickup, where you're paid.

Offers

Offers are made by phone for a specific vehicle, based on what you tell us about it. Our offers don't expire. If the vehicle or its papers turn out to be different from what was described, the offer may change, and you're free to decline.

Papers and ownership

You must have the right to sell the vehicle. We follow the paperwork rules of the state the vehicle is in, which can mean we can't buy a car until the right papers exist. Our guide to selling without a title explains the Illinois and Indiana rules in general terms; it isn't legal advice.

Information on this site

Town pages summarize local parking and vehicle rules from published village and city codes as we read them. Codes change, so check with your village if a decision depends on the exact wording.
